Who is mrnoname?
mrnoname is the end result of years of musical introspection from songwriter Noah Scheffey and drummer Logan Moyer. ‘Alive’ is one of ten new singles, all of which will be part of an upcoming concept album ‘Hallu’, a mysterious island that Noah defects to.
On this journey, he realizes the only way that he will be able to escape is if he digs through his mind and truly discovers who he is. It is a self made trial that converses with themes such as existentialism, the yearning to be something greater, the problems in the world and more.
'Alive' and the remainder of the project was produced and mixed by former drummer of pop band, Cheerleader and current producer/mix engineer, Carl Bahner, who has previously worked with numerous artists, including Transviolet, St. Lucia and Gabriel Eli. Together, Carl and mrnoname produced a remix for famous English indie rock band, The Wombats side project called Sunship Balloon, which includes two of the three members in Tord Øverland Knudsen and Dan Haggis.
Their early accomplishments include the release their debut single, ‘Keep My Cool’ which premiered on iHeart Radio’s 104.5 New Music Discovery Show as well as their first live performance at Musikfest 2022.
